Purple Door's inspiration comes from quaint cottages in the Himalayas, Khasi Hills and the Nilgiri mountains. A fulfilling stay in any home is about creating a memorable experience through a combination of hospitality and ambience.
But sadly, Bed and Breakfast, Vacation Homes, Vaction Rentals and Homestays many a time may just mean a spare bedroom in someone's house. Stays in metropolitan cities turn out to be the biggest letdowns for a plenitude of reasons even though many travellers prefer to spend their time outside of commercial hotels.
Purple Door intends to correct that starting in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad and offers a private and quaint two-bedroom homestay property in Hyderabad for use of guests. With its unique architecture (having been built on a rock), it retains the flavour of Banjara Hills throughout the homestay/vacation home and along with a spacious garden, it hopes to offer guests,
... Appreciation of the environment
... And a serene stay.
Purple Door gets its moniker from its purple-coloured front door which according to the principles of Feng Shui is the ideal colour for doorways and incidentally may also reflect open-mindedness. Studio sized cottages are in the works on Road 12, Banjara Hills as an extension along with a travel cafe. The creators hope that Purple Door will fulfill travellers expectations and this will remain a work in progress.
